With Do Good Days coming up on April 19-22, 2023, we bring you this thoughtful conversation with Partnership 4 Hope about ways you can serve during Do Good Days and beyond.

SHARE Omaha's 2023 Do Good Days campaign focuses on rebuilding the volunteer base desperately needed by nonprofits across the midlands, with the goal of 500 volunteer sign-ups during the four days to jumpstart a new wave of contagious volunteerism, that can continue through the year. We hope this video inspires you to join in supporting Partnership 4 Hope!

Partnership 4 Hope enlists and empowers mentors who will partner with young adult former foster youths on their journey toward independence. P4Hope joins a collaboration of agencies in serving these youth as they move into apartments, providing the Truck Brigade on a weekly basis helping provide and deliver furniture for their first apartments. At that time they give them a pantry of food, cleaning supplies and the opportunity to partner with a mentor. Matched mentees receive ongoing support from a more experienced adult that can help guide them through life's challenges. P4Hope matches mentors to young adult former foster youth mentees based on an interview process of both the mentors and mentees. P4Hope provides ongoing support to the mentoring pair, ongoing training for the mentors, and helps support the former foster youths P4Hope serves. P4Hope also runs and manages Youth Mart, a free shopping center for young adults aging out of foster care or recently aged out.
