Partnership 4 Hope enlists and empowers mentors who will partner with young adult former foster youths on their journey toward independence.
P4H joins a collaboration of agencies in serving these youth as they move into apartments and navigate independence. Our Youth Mart provides donated furniture and household essentials to the young adults, and our volunteer Truck Brigade delivers the large items to their apartments on a weekly basis.
Youth are presented the option to receive mentorship services either in a traditional mentorship model, or peer mentoring. Matched mentees receive ongoing support from a more experienced adult who can help guide them through life's challenges.
We accept donations of furniture, household items, gently used clothing for ages 18-26, baby essentials, hygiene items, and other household necessities.
Please text 402-704-7495 or email youthmart@partnership4hope.com to arrange drop off or pickup of donated items
(We will transport large items like sofas, dining sets and mattresses as our volunteer capacity allows)
- The Youth Mart serves over 300 young adults each year
- At age 19, youth in foster care lose the support system and services they had as foster children.
- We want to reverse the statistics for aging out foster youth by empowering them to achieve higher education and greater success overall.
