Scatter Joy Acre's goal: Fund Animal Assisted Therapy for 30 students for 3 months!

Scatter Joy Acres is a 15-acre urban agricultural rescue, therapy, and educational ranch. Their certified Animal Assisted Therapy program provides help for those in greatest need: at-risk children, the developmentally disabled, seniors, homeless, the mentally ill, veterans, and those re-entering society. They rescue and foster abused, neglected and abandoned animals. Those that don’t find loving forever homes are trained to become therapists in the Animal Assisted Therapy program. 

The Teen Center's goal: Provide 27 graduation baskets of essentials for seniors!

The Teen Center promotes opportunity for students through intentional afterschool programming that provides education, exposure, and mentorship. Founded in 2007 and now located inside Burke High School, The Teen Center collaborates closely to provide critical supports during the school day and after school. 

Currently, The Teen Center has a goal of $2,700 to fund 27 graduation baskets of essentials for seniors.

DIBS for Kids' goal: $2,000 to buy 500+ new books for kids to read at home!

DIBS for Kids is a children's literacy program. Their classroom libraries and innovative lending technology Deliver Infinite Book Shelves to students so they can read a new book every night. They provide books, a QR-code driven book distribution system, training, and support to over 200 elementary school classrooms and over 6,000 children. Their mission is to help schools provide every child with access to powerful in-home reading experiences, every school night. Our students make statistically significant reading gains, up to a full grade level of reading gains, because of DIBS. 

Sleep in Heavenly Peace's goal: $5,000 for 20 beds for kids who don't have one

Sleep In Heavenly Peace - Omaha/Council Bluffs is a local chapter of volunteers dedicated to building, assembling and delivering top-notch bunk beds to children and families in need. They fully believe that a bed is a basic need for the proper physical, emotional, and mental support that a child needs. 

Currently, Sleep in Heavenly Peace has a goal of $5,000 to fund the materials, mattresses and bedding for 20 kids in the Omaha metro who don't have one. 

Women's Center for Advancement's goal: $3,000 to fund transportation

The Women's Center for Advancement (WCA) is the go-to place for anyone in the Omaha area who is experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking or human trafficking. Their free, high-quality services address clients’ safety needs both immediate and long-term, and help them to grow into independence over time. The WCA assures that no victim will ever walk alone in their journey.

For All Counseling Services's Goal: $300 for Family Preparedness Packets

For All Counseling Service's is group of therapists offering affordable, language accessible, mental health evaluations to immigrants and asylum seekers. Their goal is to increase access to mental health evaluations for all people, especially those who face barriers to care. 

This month, For All Counseling Services put forth a goal of $300 to create Family Preparedness Packets including important information for immigrant families.
