You’re never too young to give back. And you’re never too old for adventurous volunteering!
Here is a sample of volunteer activities in the Omaha metro that are infused with an extra dose of fun.
Spread the joy of your favorite board game by teaching others! Be a game demo-er at Spielbound while making new friends. You won’t be “Sorry!”. (Age 13+ or with adult supervision)

Help assemble food packs that fight hunger in the metro. Shifts are available Tuesday-Friday: 9-11:30am and 1-3pm, Tuesday evenings: 5-7pm and Saturday: 9a-11:30am. Packing races among competitive friends may occur! (Age 12-15 with adult supervision or Age 16+)

Read aloud for 30 minutes and your recording will share news and stories with over 8,000 locals who are visually impaired. Maybe you’ll get to try a fake accent? (Age 13+)

For 90 minutes a day from July 22-26, bike spotters are needed! At the iCan Bike Camp individuals with disabilities will learn to ride a bike. Share your best motivational cheers as you keep riders upright. (Age 15+)
