#ShopforGood: Girls
Shopping for Good is the best kind of shopping! How do you do it? When you "Shop for Good" you send local nonprofits the items they need, directly from their wish lists. This week our theme this week is Girls. These are just a few items you can send to make a difference with just a few clicks:
Women's Center for Advancement
"At the forefront of our necessities are new women's underwear in all sizes, women’s plus-size clothing and hygiene products," says Women's Center for Advancement.
"The inclusion of women's plus-size clothing on our wish list is driven by a commitment to creating an environment at the Women's Center for Advancement that is inclusive, supportive, and responsive to the diverse needs of survivors. Survivors come from various backgrounds, ethnicities, and body types. By having a selection of women's plus-size clothing, we acknowledge and embrace this diversity. This ensures that all survivors, regardless of their body size or shape, have access to clothing that fits comfortably and makes them feel valued."
EPIC for Girls
"We need essential items - new sports bras, new regular size personal hygiene items, and new sports equipment (knee pads, socks, leotards, sports balls, etc.)," says EPIC For Girls.
Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska
"It takes time, hard work, love, and a lot of STUFF to keep our camp properties running! You can support Girl Scout adventures by donating supplies to camp. Please visit our Amazon Wish Lists below to view a list of needed items for each camp property. Items will ship directly to the camp property," says Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska.
