Gotta Be Me

Tiffiny Clifton of Gotta Be Me shares that supporting disabilities nonprofits is important "to continue radical inclusion of every single living being in our community and beyond. And to afford the rights and privileges you claim for yourself to everyone else regardless of a disability diagnosis. Because we are all human."

Gotta Be Me is making space and taking space for all of us, regardless of a diagnosis, regardless of an IEP, they are truly come as you are in all moments, you are enough. They provide programming almost every day of the week.

"Gotta Be Me continually needs volunteers and support by learning and growing with us - we are always learning new things and growing and we are saying, 'hum we don't know that - help us - tell us - show us'," says Tiffiny.

WhyArts Inc.

Mary Gibilisco of WhyArts Inc shares, "Donating to disability nonprofits supports essential services and programs that empower individuals with disabilities to lead more independent and fulfilling lives. We rely on donations to provide accessible resources, advocacy, and education that may not be adequately funded by government sources. By contributing, donors help promote inclusivity and equal opportunities for all members of the community."

WhyArts enhances the metro area by providing inclusive and accessible arts programming to individuals with disabilities, fostering creativity and self-expression. Their workshops and events create opportunities for community engagement and connection, breaking down barriers and promoting understanding. Through their initiatives, they enrich the cultural fabric of the metro and support a more inclusive and vibrant community.

"We need more volunteers from our community to assist with our programs and events, ensuring that we can continue to offer personalized support and a wide range of activities. Volunteers play a crucial role in helping us deliver high-quality experiences for our participants, enabling them to fully engage in the arts. Their involvement also strengthens community bonds and demonstrates a collective commitment to inclusivity and support for individuals with disabilities," says Mary.
