We believe in the power of community and the impact of volunteerism. Our community’s volunteers are the heart and soul of the nonprofits in our region. Their dedication and passion is something you need to see to believe! Today we shine a spotlight on some of the amazing volunteers who help make the metro better every day. Building support for housing needs: Metropolitan Utilities District

As Do Good Days quickly approaches, we are often asked, “What does it mean to do good?” For Metropolitan Utilities District it means championing support for housing needs in our community.  

As a customer-owned public utility, M.U.D.’s mission is to provide safe, reliable and cost-effective natural gas and water services to the community. They are making this happen every day for a population of more than 600,000 in Omaha and the surrounding areas.

#ShopforGood: Girls

Shopping for Good is the best kind of shopping! How do you do it? When you "Shop for Good" you send local nonprofits the items they need, directly from their wish lists. This week our theme this week is Girls. These are just a few items you can send to make a difference with just a few clicks:
