I've been hearing of Kiewit employees volunteering across the greater Omaha metro and wanted to learn more about their efforts. Tim, who leads the Kiewit Culture of Service Committee spent some time with me to explain their why, the benefits of volunteerism that he has observed, and his advice for others looking to start a volunteer program. 

Kiewit Corporation shares that their business ethics are their four core values – People, Integrity, Excellence and Stewardship.

For stewardship, Tim stated that it is important to give back to the communities in which Kiewit operates, and that they do this by initiating or participating in community and civic activities. This includes volunteering, completing civic duties, and serving on local nonprofit boards. Thank you, Tim and the Kiewit team, for pouring your energy into making our community a better place!
