Stories

Some call it stories. Others call it a blog. But here you will find nuggets of goodness to use and -- you guessed it -- SHARE!

Volunteer Voices: Mark, College Possible

You've found our 12th episode of Volunteer Voices, where we hear from valued volunteers in our community.

College Possible envisions a day when a student's future is determined solely by their talent, motivation and effort. College Possible makes college admission and success possible for students from low-income backgrounds through an intensive curriculum of coaching and support. They provide: (1) Academic support through ACT test preparation; (2) College application assistance; (3) Financial aid consulting; (4) Guidance on the transition to college; and (5) Comprehensive support toward college degree completion.

"We need people to come talk at these (high school) career panels, to talk about their own experiences in their lives, because we are all different. To be able to come talk to these high school students about how you got (to where you are) is something that we all want to hear more about," says Mark, College Possible volunteer.
