Volunteer Voices: Carolyn, Learning for ALL

 

Carolyn, Learning for ALL volunteer, shares her experience as an ESL tutor during this 17th episode of Volunteer Voices.

Learning for ALL's mission is to elevate the lives of and support adults in our community by empowering them to acquire the language, literacy, and life skills necessary to achieve their life goals. They serve residents, immigrants, and refugees aged 18 and older, regardless of gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, or ethnic background They offer learning opportunities with the schedule flexibility, curriculum pace, one-on-one support, and family-like environment that adult students need to achieve their goals.

"For each student I try to say, what particularly do you want to learn? When they come back and say, 'I did it!", those are my favorite memories," says Carolyn, Learning for ALL volunteer.
