Stories

Some call it stories. Others call it a blog. But here you will find nuggets of goodness to use and -- you guessed it -- SHARE!

A surprise from Papillion La Vista South High School's LEO Club

SHARE Omaha received the best surprise from Papillion LaVista South High School's LEO Club!

If you don't know about the LEO Club, this group gives young people opportunities for development and contribution- individually and collectively - as responsible members of our community. Leo Club activities and projects enhance the community and help young people develop and practice leadership, organization and social skills.

The Leo Club motto is Leadership, Experience, Opportunity.

  • Leadership: Leo members acquire skills as project organizers and motivators of their peers.
  • Experience: They discover how teamwork and cooperation can bring about change in their community and the world.
  • Opportunity: Leos develop positive character traits and receive recognition for their contribution.

Recently, Papillion LaVista South High School's LEO Club lent their time and talents to create heartwarming pieces of artwork that will be randomly sent to givers who use SHAREomaha.org to make an impact! How incredible are these pieces?

Have you been meaning to send gifts to your favorite nonprofits this Spring? Give now and one of these smile-worthy pieces might end up in your mailbox.
