Shop for Good: Trans Stitchin'
"We could just feel the sense of love in the room and how important this was to her," said Maddie reflecting on a recent Trans Stitchin' community closet experience.
Trans Stitchin' is a no cost community closet that provides gender affirming clothing and accessories. The closet provides clothes, shoes, undergarments, accessories, cosmetics, hygiene products, and gender affirming items. They are passionate about connecting people to the Omaha community. They also have a network of resources which include social support, legal name change, and mental health and medical providers.
The closet is open on Saturdays 10am until 1 pm and by appointment and donors are needed to help fill the closet with requested items.
