Scatter Joy Acres is a 15-acre urban agricultural rescue, therapy, and educational ranch. Their certified Animal Assisted Therapy program provides help for those in greatest need: at-risk children, the developmentally disabled, seniors, homeless, the mentally ill, veterans, and those re-entering society. They rescue and foster abused, neglected and abandoned animals. Those that don’t find loving forever homes are trained to become therapists in their Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) program.
