"As a new member of SHARE Omaha's advisory committee, I am excited about the opportunity to contribute my passion for community impact. I believe in the strength of collective efforts to create positive change, and joining this committee aligns perfectly.

I am particularly drawn to SHARE Omaha's mission and goals, finding resonance with their dedication to building stronger communities. Volunteering is important to me because it provides a platform to utilize my skills for a meaningful cause. I am eager to collaborate with fellow committee members, leveraging our collective strengths to address community needs and create lasting impact.

This role is not only an opportunity to give back but also a chance for personal growth and learning. I see it as a way to broaden my perspectives, enhance my skills, and deepen my understanding of community dynamics. I am enthusiastic about the prospect of networking with like-minded individuals and contributing to the positive growth of SHARE Omaha's initiatives. I am committed to actively participating, learning, and collaborating to help achieve SHARE Omaha's mission and contribute to the betterment of our community."

"Something that’s been on my mind lately is the thought that if this world is to have a bright future, those who have must give.  I'm looking forward to volunteering for the Advisory Committee. It’s so important that we look at giving from many different angles.  Donating money is fantastic but we can all help in so many more ways.  I'm thrilled to get involved with SHARE Omaha."

"Serving in roles like this always yield for me many great benefits, such as learning new information about our Omaha community and meeting new people.  But what really excites me about this specific role with SHARE Omaha is being able to contribute to this incredible organization that serves our entire community of non-profits.  I’m inspired by SHARE Omaha’s mission of changing the giving culture of our metro area, and I’m humbled by the opportunity to help them in this effort."

"I remember feeling such gratitude and appreciation at the 2018 Nonprofit Association of the Midlands Conference learning that SHARE Omaha was coming to town. Since that time, I have used the platform to donate to community organizations and connect with volunteer opportunities, and partnered with SHARE Omaha to organize a corporate supply drive for children in foster care.  I’ve brokered connections between SHARE Omaha and the Greater Omaha Chamber to ensure that Leadership Omaha participants know about this resource as they extend their community engagement, and I’ve recommended SHARE Omaha Omaha to more friends and neighbors than I can count. More than five years later, I am as enthusiastic as ever about SHARE Omaha’s unique ability to make catalytic connections among individuals, companies, and nonprofits. I look forward to helping create new partnerships and collaborations that encourage volunteerism and giving across our generous community."

"The opportunity to support SHARE Omaha in achieving its mission has the benefit of impacting hundreds of local nonprofits. If SHARE Omaha succeeds the ripple effect into to community will be felt across and through nonprofit organizations. This doesn’t mean creating this impact is simple, it’s quite complex, which is why I enjoy supporting SHARE Omaha in this critical work."

Jaymes has served as an advisor to SHARE Omaha since our launch in 2019. We are delighted and grateful for his continued service with SHARE Omaha's Advisory Committee.
