Lincoln Financial Group: Champion for Education

SHARE Omaha and SHARE Iowa’s 2023 Do Good Days campaign is focusing on rebuilding the volunteer base urgently needed by nonprofits across the midlands, with the goal of 500 volunteer sign-ups during the four days to jumpstart a new wave of volunteerism during National Volunteer Week.

Omaha metro and Southwest Iowa nonprofits need hundreds of volunteers across the over 700 organizations and companies like Lincoln Financial Group are stepping up to help.

Skutt Catholic High School's Community Involvement Day during Do Good Days

Skutt Catholic High School’s mission is to form and educate young men and women to become Christian leaders who empower others, promote justice and initiate change. One way that Skutt Catholic fulfills this mission is through its annual Community Involvement Day. Coincidentally, this spring’s Community Involvement Day falls during Do Good Days. What perfect timing to get students out doing good during National Volunteer Week!

Do Good Days: Start planning your acts of good!

The past two years haven’t been easy. Individuals, families and organizations have all been stretched thin in one way or another. But despite what we often see in movies, where characters become selfish and individualistic in the face of disruption and challenges, we know that’s not the case in our community.

Doing good is valued here.

In addition to the small acts of kindness we see each day, like neighbors checking in and looking out for one another, we also know that, together, we’re capable of incredible collective giving efforts.

Pumpkin spice lattes are here, let’s volunteer!

Get in the Fall spirit and warm your heart with these easy volunteer opportunities in the Omaha metro.
