Building support for housing needs: Metropolitan Utilities District
As Do Good Days quickly approaches, we are often asked, “What does it mean to do good?” For Metropolitan Utilities District it means championing support for housing needs in our community.
As a customer-owned public utility, M.U.D.’s mission is to provide safe, reliable and cost-effective natural gas and water services to the community. They are making this happen every day for a population of more than 600,000 in Omaha and the surrounding areas.

Omaha metro's volunteer shortage and how you can help
Dear friends,
Over half of our area's volunteer needs go unserved each week.
As we enter National Volunteer Month, and soon SHARE Omaha's Do Good Days from April 24-27, it is clear we need to expand the volunteer base desperately needed by nonprofits across the midlands.
We have so much great news to share from our nonprofit partners about their amazing work. But, we'd love to hear from you. Let us know if you have stories you'd like to tell and we'll make you a guest blogger!!
