What We Do
The NCS HOPE Foundation seeks to improve the lives of individuals and families in the community and the surrounding areas who are impacted by cancer treatment. The foundation does provides supportive services and resources to all oncology and hematology patients, families, and caregivers.
Emerging from the patient assistance fund at Nebraska Cancer Specialists, the NCS HOPE Foundation largely serves as a way to provide to patients in need of financial assistance through services and supportive resources such as:
- Rent and utilities assistance
- Transportation/fuel cards
- Groceries and comfort items
- Prescription Co-Pay assistance
- Referrals to community resources
- Fitness programs
- Disease education & prevention

- We've provided $879,531 in assistance grants to 1,000+ individuals & families impacted by cancer from 157 communities in Nebraska since 2018
- We've provided first time screenings, referrals, and biopsy recommendations for 990 community members at our annual Free Skin Cancer screening since 2021
