What We Do
At Volunteers Assisting Seniors we help all Medicare eligible people understand the complexities of Medicare through information and education. As the Eastern Nebraska SHIP office, we provide unbiased information about Medicare and Medicare related services to individuals for free. We also assist those who may qualify for Homestead Exemption in the state of Nebraska to apply for property tax relief. We serve individuals in Douglas, Sarpy, Dodge, Cass and Washington counties.
