Lasagna Love is 501(c)(3) non-profit that started as a nationwide grassroots movement to positively impact communities by connecting neighbors with neighbors through complimentary, homemade meal delivery. We also seek to eliminate stigmas associated with asking for help when it is needed most. Our mission is simple: feed families, spread kindness, and strengthen communities. With your help, Lasagna Love will be able to continue weaving kindness back into the fabric of our communities, one lasagna delivery at a time.
In the six-county Omaha / Council Bluffs District, we have fulfilled a total of 3,459 lasagna requests, which have fed 14,828 people inception to date.
2020 - 7 requests / 26 people fed
2021 - 1,104 requests / 4,923 people fed
2022 - 914 requests / 3,986 people fed
2023 - 952 requests / 3,863 people fed
2024 - 482 requests / 2,030 people fed (through July)
In addition to the above, we coordinated special events where we delivered 150 loaf pan lasagnas to the veteran residents of Victory Apartments in July 2023, 60 full size lasagnas to the Siena Francis House in August 2024, and smaller batches of lasagnas to the Ronald McDonald House, the VA's Papillion Community Living Center, and Omaha's Domestic Violence Shelter.
