Bags of Fun Omaha

Our Mission

To deliver a Bag of Fun to every child fighting a long-term or life-threatening condition.

Our Vision

We exist to bring joy, laughter and relief to every child whose health and happiness is threatened and/or compromised.

We deliver Medical Bags of Fun and Mental Health Bags of Fun. 
Medical Bags of Fun are given to children in local hospitals fighting a life-threatening illness and are customized to each child's age, interests and cognitive level in an effort to provide some comfort, distraction and play therapy while they fight their medical battle.  Each Medical Bag of Fun costs us $450.

Mental Health Bags of Fun are more standardized and are distributed to children upon discharge from an inpatient stay. They are filled with tools to help perpetuate the skills they learn in therapy to cope with anxiety, modify behavior, soothe and calm them.  Each Mental Health Bag costs us $250.

We distribute these bags based on the request of the social worker or child life specialist at the child's hospital.
