YMCA Healthy Kids Day is coming up on Sunday, April 27 and we need your help to make this FREE community event a success! In partnership with the National Safety Council – Nebraska Chapter, we will welcome thousands to Stinson Park (in Aksarben) to provide safety information and inspire healthy habits.

- Outdoors/weather, standing/walking
- Highschool aged and up; Groups welcome but may be broken up
REGISTER TO VOLUNTEER FOR HEALTHY KIDS DAY BY FRIDAY, MARCH 28! (Deadline to guarantee a shirt. Registration will be open until mid-April)
Volunteer opportunity: Keep things moving and kids safe as they explore obstacle courses, get fitted for helmets, and learn safety tips and fun ways to stay active. Sign up for 9:30am – 12:15pm, 11:45am to 3pm or both shifts. Pizza and volunteer shirt will be provided for day-of-event volunteers. HKD Volunteer Flier
What is YMCA Healthy Kids Day? With everything from vision screenings and emergency vehicles to helmet fittings, safety mascots, and mini fitness demos, Healthy Kids Day is an exciting annual effort put on by the YMCA of Greater Omaha in collaboration with National Safety Council – Nebraska Chapter and Children’s Nebraska, volunteers, generous sponsors, and other health and safety partners.
