Restoring Dignity

Volunteer Opportunity:
Pack cleaning kits and supplies for refugee families
I'm Interested!

Restoring Dignity's Welcome Home program helps refugee families acclimate to their new homes by teaching critical information on home health and cleaning, fire safety, and home owners' maintenance.  We need your help to keep our supplies packed and ready for educators to take to these one-on-one in-home classes!  Classes are offered in fourteen different languages, so help is also needed keeping translated materials laminated and organized for each class.

Volunteers will meet at Restoring Dignity's office at 3260 Davenport Street (inside Yates Illuminates, formerly Yates Elementary).  Two-hour volunteer shifts are available weekdays between 9 and 3, depending on availability!
