Embracing the ICU

Possible Bags are amenities bags that we provide to parents just starting their NICU journey.  They currently include drink tumblers, unscented lotion, chapstick, information about Embracing the ICU, a book for parents to read to their children and a crocheted octopus. 

We would love to see this initiative grow into including food and/or gas cards for parents. Eventually with us being able to provide these for all PICU and CICU parents as well. 

We are looking for some volunteers to help solicit and seek out donors to either provide in-kind items or monetary donations.  Ideally this person would have marketing and fundraising background to help format donation request letters and commitments.  Someone who likes research would be a great fit for this role as well. We are always ready to look at things from a new perspective. 

This role is ongoing and can be done in the comfort of your own home via email or phone calls.  There is not a estimated time that this project may take.  There will be date goals set between the volunteers and the board of the organization.
