In conjunction with Do Good Days and the celebration of volunteerism across our great community, we are inviting you to join us to prepare meal kits for the young adults in our programs here at Omaha Home for Boys.
As a volunteer, you will be preparing ingredients for simple freezer meals and assembling meal kits. We currently have two shifts available:
Friday, April 25 - 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (cook meat)
Monday, April 28 - 9 a.m. to noon (freezer seal/package meat)
Come be a part of this meaningful project that will put easy-to-cook, nutritious meals into the hands of the young adults served by OHB. Many of our young adult clients are also single parents who are trying to provide for little ones. What better way to support these young adults and children than by providing them with a meal to share!
