Heartland Family Service

(Mention "Iowa Family Works" in your volunteer form application!) As a volunteer at the Family Works location, you would be watching children in the facility, with the parent also being in the facility (but doing classroom work). The facility has a playroom, kitchen and bedroom for naps. You would be able to volunteer as little or as much as you want. The program is more than willing to work with volunteers schedules! The time frame to volunteer for this is 8am - 4pm, Monday – Friday. However, they will work with your schedule. If Friday’s from 12-4 is what works best for you, they are more than happy with that!
