What We Do

At Heartland Family Service, we help many people walk many paths. Our mission is to strengthen individuals and families through education, counseling and support services.

Our programs fall under three categories: Child & Family Well-Being, Counseling & Prevention, and Housing, Safety, & Financial Stability.

We serve those most in need... 80% of the people in our programs have annual incomes of $20K or less.

Our 40+ programs make up a network of services, advocacy, and support that all share share a common goal: breaking cycles of barriers, so everyone can.

In 2020, we connected with more than 79,000 individuals and families through direct services, education, and outreach.
We are committed to building a culture that values and celebrates diversity in addition to creating a trauma-informed environment.
Since April of 2020, we have seen an increase in calls to our Homeless Prevention program of 500%.
