About Us:

Femi’s Heart Mission is dedicated to providing resources, advocacy, and support to underserved communities, focusing on health, education, and critical care services. Our work extends internationally in Africa, where we provide essential aid, and locally in Omaha, where we engage in community-driven initiatives. We are expanding to Canada, furthering our commitment to global change.

Responsibilities:

• Research and identify relevant funding opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government sources.
• Write and submit compelling grant proposals to secure funding for our programs.
• Assist in annual fundraising initiatives and donor outreach.
• Collaborate with leadership to align funding efforts with organizational needs.
• (Optional but preferred) Provide input on event planning to enhance fundraising efforts.

Commitment & Expectations:

• Time Commitment: Minimum 6 hours per month (flexible scheduling).
• Check-ins: Weekly 30-minute meetings with the Director of Finance for guidance and progress updates.
• Remote Opportunity: Work can be completed at any time, day or night, within designated deadlines.
• Quarterly Board Meetings: Volunteers are required to attend our scheduled board meetings to provide updates and align fundraising efforts with organizational goals.

  • November 3, 2025-Virtual
