Volunteer Opportunity:
Empowerment Network Monthly Village Community Meeting
I'm Interested!

The Empowerment Network host monthly Village Community Meetings every 2nd Saturday at Omaha North High School Viking Center or sometimes at the Metropolitan Community College in the Swanson Center.  Breakfast, networking and visiting community partner tables begin @ 8:45 am and the meeting begins @ 9:30 am and usually last until 11:30 am.  Volunteers are welcome to assist from 8:15 am - 10:15 am (after breakfast is served) or welcome to stay for the community meeting.

The Village Community meeting is open to the public and the topics rotate each month and focus on initiatives in North Omaha such as education, health, violence prevention and intervention, housing and neighborhood revitalization, arts and culture and more. Volunteer areas include set-up, prepare and serve FREE HOT breakfast, set-up tables and chairs for the community partner exhibitor tables, check-in attendees and more. This is a great opportunity for groups to volunteer and students looking for community service hours.
