The Empowerment Network transforms the economic condition and quality of life of African-Americans, North Omaha residents, and citizens of the greater Omaha area to close long-standing gaps in employment, education, housing, and other qualities of life. We address these disparities by building wealth and income, creating strong families, preparing successful children, and rebuilding thriving neighborhoods. Your gift today to the Empowerment Network Step-Up Omaha! Program helps to connect youth to career exploration, jobs and interns; and connect families with resources and opportunities. STEP-UP OMAHA! recruits, trains, prepares and places Omaha youth and young adults age 14 to 21, in mutually beneficial paid summer jobs and work experience opportunities. The Step-Up Omaha collaboration works to bridge the employment gap and invest in the workforce of the future by recruiting, training, and preparing at-risk youth & young adults. Your donation will help to continue reducing gun violence and increasing employment opportunities.
