Executive Director, Search for Aviation stemAHA (Omaha) a Non-Profit 501C-3.
Lead the emergence of a 6-year-old Non-Profit, all Volunteer organization to a full-time staffed Non-Profit--Must seize the challenge, love guiding youth to their exposure to career opportunities in STEM Aviation.  Recent expansions in Aviation Education have created greater opportunities to grow this Non-Profit to be a fulltime staffed organization within 12 to 24 months. The current Co-Founder & President wants to continue expanding and developing programs plus widen the reach to youth, age 8 to 17.  Recent inclusion programs have been developed to expand the reach to youth in the intercity where knowledge of opportunities is more limited but the potential for finding critical labor to fill severe shortages in STEM Aviation has great potential.

•    Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Responsibilities:
•    Lead the transition of the organization from an all-volunteer to a fully staffed non-profit within 12 to 24 months.
•    Guide youth in exploring career opportunities in STEM Aviation.
•    Expand and develop programs, especially for youth aged 8 to 17, including those in inner-city areas.
•    Engage in grant writing and organizing public outreach events.
•    Encourage new affiliates to join and stage youth events.
Ideal Candidate:
•    Strong background in aviation.
•    Retired or unable to fly due to age or medical reasons.
•    Passionate about aviation and able to inspire others.
•    Familiar with the non-profit sector.
•    Energetic and enthusiastic, with a strong desire to make a difference in young people's lives.
•    Good community contacts and an outgoing personality.
•    Creative and motivated by non-monetary rewards.
