Stray to Spay
What We Do
Stray to Spay is a 501(c)3 Trap, Neuter, and Return (TNR) organization aiming to reduce the population of stray cats in the Omaha area by humanely trapping, neutering, and vaccinating them, then returning those that are feral to their colony and socializing those that are tame in preparation for adoption into their forever homes.
We work with pet supply stores and other rescues to collect and distribute countless pounds of cat food for colony caretakers. This small act can reduce the financial burden on people and prevent food waste.
Interesting Info
- Since we received our 501(c)3 approval letter in April 2022, we have trapped and neutered over 800 cats.
- When we find friendly cats and/or kittens, we work with adoption rescues to secure homes for them when possible.
- We reduce food waste by accepting open bag dry food donations and distributing those along with other food to colony caretakers.
