What We Do

The Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum is committed to providing educational opportunities for youth. The Museum is home to an extraordinary collection of aircraft, spacecraft, World War II and Cold War artifacts, spanning 70 years of history.

The mission of the Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum is to preserve the history of Strategic Air Command, the Cold War and aerospace artifacts and to inspire learning through imaginative, innovative, and inspirational programs and exhibits.

The Museum offers educational programming and monthly events that inspire learning and are fun for families! We are just 20 minutes from Omaha off interstate I-80 (exit) 426 next to Mahoney State Park.

Interesting Info

The Museum is a wonderful Nebraska treasure and houses one of the nations largest collections of cold war artifacts.
We serve over 30,000 youth annually with education programs that inspire future leaders. Robotics is one of the favorites.
The Museum is not funded by the government, relying on the community for donations to support new exhibits and programs.
