Sheepgate, a division of Adult & Teen Challenge of the Midlands, is one of the most successful recovery programs in the world. The biggest difference between us and more traditional recovery programs is our focus on Christ. We whole-heartedly depend on Christ-centered teaching and Biblical principles to be a guiding light that reveals darkness and results in genuine healing from difficult life issues and painful addictions. Teen Challenge of the Midlands, Inc., now called Sheepgate, was established in 1978. We now operate 3 centers: a 75-bed men’s center in Colfax, Iowa; a 25-bed men’s re-entry house in Omaha, Nebraska (the NW Radial location); and our 12-bed women’s center in Beatrice, Nebraska. Our services include our 12 to 18-month residential program, outreach initiatives, and small group ministries.
