SAVE Program
Our mission is to connect under-served youth with opportunities and resources to be successful students and active individuals. Within our Academic Mentoring Program, we strive to build positive associations with college campuses through interactive and exploratory learning. Our students are brought onto local college campuses to work alongside student mentors in activities, tutoring, and campus engagement. The opportunity to participate in an extracurricular activity is the primary initiative SAVE uses to encourage active involvement in a child’s education and community. By creating that connection between academic success and extracurricular support, our program helps kids reach their potential both in and out of the classroom. Our Follow Through Program, serves 152 AMP graduates through high school to provide support, resources, and encouragement for academic success and extracurricular engagement.
- Students from eight(8) different schools spend, on average, 3,059 hours on their partnered college campus within the Academic Mentoring Program.
