Planned Parenthood North Central States (formally Planned Parenthood of the Heartland) provides, promotes, and protects reproductive and sexual health through high quality care, education and advocacy. We envision communities where sexual and reproductive rights are basic human rights and where every person has the opportunity to lead a healthy and meaningful life. All people deserve the right to bodily autonomy and reproductive freedom regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity, race, socioeconomic status, zip code, or age. We have recently been named a Top Performer by the Healthcare Equality Index (HEI)! The HEI is the national LGBTQ+ benchmarking tool that evaluates how equitable patient and employee experiences are for LGBTQ+ individuals in health care practices across the country.
