What We Do

Pear Tree Performing Arts provides dance and theatre arts lessons and outreach experiences. We provide access to arts education to students in after-school programs, during the school day, through summer arts education workshops, and through traditional in-studio offerings. We are unique in our approach to creating a well-rounded artist and using a rich cultural dynamic to support the learning and development of the whole child. Our organizational objective is to ensure that every student has access and the opportunity to participate in arts-based activities. Pear Tree strives to create spaces to experience creative brilliance and artistry of each student, to facilitate leadership skills, to foster cultural awareness, and to open dialogue among students to enact positive change in our communities.
