What We Do

More than 3,300 children are counting on P4K to keep them engaged in school and focused on their future. During this time of COVID-19, our students have diminishing hope and even fewer resources and the outreach and support that we provide for these students are absolutely critical to their engagement and their potential to achieve success!

The best way to support P4K during this time is through donations, particularly recurring monthly gifts so that thousands of students in need can continue to rely on P4K. And when students return to classrooms, they'll need mentors more than ever to help them re-engage and adjust. You can sign up NOW to become a mentor and receive training.

We also are in need of the following for the students and families we serve:
- Cleaning supplies
- Diapers
- PPEs for staff

Please visit our website to donate or become a mentor today. Our kids need us now more than ever, and we need you now more than ever.

What we do at P4K:
It’s not your typical mentoring program. We offer Omaha’s only curriculum-based program providing kids pre-k through college with goal setting, mentoring, college and career exploration. The consistent support of staff and mentors help guide our youth into rewarding careers. We not only curb the cycle of generational poverty, we also help cultivate tomorrow's workforce.

Ninety percent of our students come from low-income households and diverse family dynamics. Their past helps to shape them, but it is the guidance and mentorship they receive today and every day that has the biggest impact on their futures. Please help us launch these young lives.

Interesting Info

Our programs support students in 16 Omaha Public Schools to include elementary, middle, and high school.
Our participants have a 94% high school graduation rate, a 90% college enrollment rate, and a 94% college persistence rate.
Our overarching goal is to break Omaha's cycle of generational poverty through higher education and mentorship.
