What We Do

Paralyzed Veterans of America Great Plains Chapter is dedicated to improving the quality of life for paralyzed veterans and other individuals living with disabilities. Our services include advocacy, veteran benefits, and sports and recreation. For over 50 years we have helped veterans with spinal cord injuries, as well as other individuals living with disabilities, across Nebraska, Western Iowa, and Kansas.

Interesting Info
  • Our Adaptive Crossfit program has trained athletes to compete at the WheelWod Games, an international competition, and they have placed in the top 5!
  • We are on the National PVA Billiards Series providing a tournament in the fall for people with spinal cord injury/disease, including MS.
  • We created an opportunity for wheelchair users to play golf using a swingless golf club!
