Papillion Community Foundation, Inc.

The mission of the Papillion Community Foundation is to identify, develop and support community programs that enhance the quality of life in Papillion. A core piece of that is being the driving force behind community events like Papillion Days and Winter Wonderland!  The Foundation honors veterans through Veterans Park and provides support to veterans in need through Pantry for Our Patriots.  The Papillion 150 project was a celebration of Papillion's 150th Anniversary.  The 150 projects includes: Wings Over Papillion Public Art Project, Butterfly Effect Mural project – being the change you want to see in the world, Papillion Historical Walking Tour, Boy Scout Cabin Restoration Project and Papillion Butterfly Garden. In addition, to supporting community events and programs we award impact grants to other nonprofit programs that serve Sarpy County residents through our grant program. We were able to award $49,000 back into the community this year! Some of the recipients were Foster Love, MilkWorks, Heart Heroes, Papillion La Vista TeamMates, Neighborgood, Town and Country Humane Society, Papillion La Vista High School Monarch Show Choir and the Papillion La Vista Media Academy. We were excited to launch Fore the Foundation Golf Tournament in September and will launch Derby Day in May as our two new fundraisers!
