Navigating the “new normal” of life with an ill child is overwhelming. The mission of Operation Super Jack is to help those families with cancer live their best lives.
Whether that be through providing transportation for families to visit, donating toys and comfies for hospital stays, providing food vouchers or care packages—Operation Super Jack is here to help.
- From July 2022 to present date, Operation Super Jack has supported over 50 families battling pediatric cancer. We have given:
~ 100 gift cards to Children's Hospital cafe
~ 80 $250 VISA gift cards to newly diagnosed families
~ $7,000 to Grace, to aid in her battle with a brain tumor (which we are thrilled to say she is WINNING)
~ $1,000 to a family in Lincoln who choses not to be named to aid in their fight.- ~$250 to another family in need in Rural Nebraska
We have solid relationships with area hospitals and partner with local, state, and national non-profits to ensure that if there is a local need, we will do all we can to fulfill it. There are about 100 new cases per year at Omaha's Children's Hospital alone, and we aim to help every single one of them. We can't do it without your help. Together, WE GOT THIS!
- We give $250 VISA gift cards and cafeteria vouchers to each newly diagnosed family at Children's Hospital and Medical Center in Omaha, NE.
- We partner with other local charities who help support families with pediatric cancer diagnoses.
- We help locals with childhood cancer live their best lives; in memory of our small but mighty hero, Super Jack Speichert.
