What We Do

The Omaha Sister Cities Association (OSCA) is an all-volunteer organization promoting citizen diplomacy between Omaha and our sister cities located in Europe, Asia and Latin America. We enhance our community’s global awareness through cultural, educational, humanitarian and economic development connections. Omaha's sister cities are: Shizuoka, Japan; Braunschweig, Germany; Siauliai, Lithuania; Naas, Ireland; Xalapa, Mexico; Yantai, China: and Isigny-Omaha Intercom, Normandy, France.  Isigny-Omaha Intercom is the most recent sister city.  This is the location of historic Omaha Beach, Normandy. Isigny joined as a Friendship City in 2019 and became a full sister on May 18, 2023.  In 2021, OSCA added a Friendship City when it signed an agreement with Carlentini, Italy.

Interesting Info
