What We Do

The Omaha Sister Cities Association (OSCA) is an all-volunteer organization promoting citizen diplomacy between Omaha and our sister cities located in Europe, Asia and Latin America. We enhance our community’s global awareness through cultural, educational, humanitarian and economic development connections.

Omaha's sister cities are: Shizuoka, Japan; Braunschweig, Germany; Siauliai, Lithuania; Naas, Ireland; Xalapa, Mexico; and Yantai, China. In 2019, we formalized a Friendship City relationship with Isigny-Omaha Intercom, France. This is the location of historic Omaha Beach, Normandy.

Interesting Info

We have six Sister Cities and one Friendship City. Delegation trips are part of our mission.
Membership is open to all.
Our goal is to promote peace through citizen-to-citizen diplomacy and exchanges.
