What We Do

Omaha Conservatory of Music provides music lessons and classes for over 2,000 students of all ages through private lessons, classes, String Sprouts, summer camp, and Inside the Mind of the Artist!

The Conservatory's outstanding artist-faculty inspire a student body of over 700 students through private lessons at its facility at 7023 Cass St. in Omaha, and touch the lives of thousands of others through programs such as String Sprouts, Summer Institute (OCMI), the Inside the Mind of the Artist series, and off-campus classes.

Our musical community offers a rich variety of classes, interaction with guest artists, ensemble experiences, educational workshops, solo and group performances, and other unique opportunities in collaboration with arts organizations throughout the region.

With over 2,000 students served, we are the largest music school in the region!
This year, we awarded over $125,000 in financial aid and scholarships, making music accessible to all.
Music instruction early in life is shown to improve academic outcomes, including vocabulary, executive functioning, and math skills.
