NorthStar Foundation
Delivered through Academics, Adventure & Athletics programming - NorthStar is the only all-boys after-school program in Greater Omaha.
NorthStar's mission is to change the lives of young men through programming that supports, challenges, inspires and instills a life rooted in education, self-discipline and service to the community through our three areas of program focus: Academics, Adventure & Athletics.
All activities are really metaphors for life, building strong character and the needed skills to compete once a student graduates. Our first Leadership NorthStar class immersed high-performing high school students in a year of mentor-led activities. These sessions focused on student strengths and enhancing skills to be competitive at a high level, with the ultimate goal to serve as Omaha and Nebraska’s future leaders.
We serve boys in grades 3-12 and our activities during the academic year and throughout the summer include STEM & arts programming, rock climbing, robotics, culinary classes, gardening, photography, college visits, basketball, lacrosse, soccer, cycling and more!
