What We Do
Our mission at Nora's Nation is to enrich the lives of childhood cancer warriors within Nebraska or those who receive treatment at Omaha Children's Hospital by lifting up their spirits and acknowledging their bravery and resilience on their cancerversary by granting them gifts! You may ask what is a cancerversary? Here as Nora's Nation a cancerversary is the day that a family was told that their child has cancer. This is a very tough date for families to think about so this is why we created Nora's Nation. We turn this day of solace and despair into a day of celebrating all resilience and strength the family has shown.
Interesting Info
- Our goal is to not only fulfill the wishes of cancer warriors but of their siblings as well.
- Unfortunately, childhood cancer is not rare as 1 out of 285 children will be diagnosed with some form of cancer.
- We have brought joy and smiles to over 50 childhood warriors and families.
