The Nebraska Writers Collective uses creative writing and performance poetry to amplify diverse stories and build community across the Midwest.

Interesting Info
  • Our Louder Than a Bomb: Great Plains program provides eight months of free mentoring to more than 700 teens in more than 40 high schools each year.
  • The NWC employs more than 50 local writers and poets each year, helping to retain and sustain them in Nebraska.
  • We keep overhead low by not having a facility and partnering with other organizations to provide workshop space.
