What We Do

Nebraska Wind Symphony provides adult musicians the opportunity to perform music for wind band in a nurturing environment and share our music joyfully with the community. The band meets Monday evenings at the Omaha Conservatory of Music where they rehearse and perform in the beautiful concert hall.

The All Stars program connects professional musicians with middle school band students through coaching sessions and a concert performance side by side with the Nebraska Wind Symphony!

Scholarships are awarded to students seeking a degree in music; the scholarship winners receive funding and the opportunity to perform a concerto with the Nebraska Wind Symphony during a concert.

Interesting Info

The Nebraska Wind Symphony is an adult community band of over 75 adults from a wide variety of vocational backgrounds.
Each concert season, we perform three or four formal concerts plus additional concerts in a variety of venues, including free summer outdoor concerts.
We are a musical treasure and goodwill ambassador for the City of Omaha and State of Nebraska.
