What We Do

Nebraska Wildlife Federation is dedicated to conserving Nebraska’s wildlife and wild places through outdoor education, advocacy, fish and wildlife conservation, and community engagement.

Interesting Info
  • Along with the National Wildlife Federation, we helped stop large dams on the Platte River and establish protection for the Whooping Crane.
  • We promoted a certified wildlife garden program resulting in 200+ wildlife habitat gardens for pollinators in homes, schools and communities.
  • Our goal is to help establish a national grassland conservation program, secure and protect natural flows in rivers and streams, and improve water quality.
