What We Do
Nebraska Italian Greyhound Rescue is a foster home based, all volunteer rescue committed to finding homes for dogs in need and offering assistance to those who have the breed, and providing education about puppy mills. The Nebraska Italian Greyhound Rescue utilizes the help of many volunteers and previous adopters to re-home Italian Greyhounds primarily in the Lincoln and Omaha areas. The NE Italian Greyhound Rescue has been an affiliate of the Italian Greyhound Rescue Foundation since November 2003.
Interesting Info
- We assist Italian Greyhound owners who are having challenges with their pets’ behaviors or training.
- We place roughly 25-30 Italian Greyhounds in new homes annually. Most of our adopters have IG experience.
- We schedule regular play groups for Italian Greyhounds and their owners in both Lincoln and Omaha.
