What We Do
Nebraska Homeschool is here to encourage and support homeschool families through mentoring, collaboration, and resource networking.
We mentor and support homeschool parents/families with students in PreK - 12th grade. We host a Scripps spelling bee, field trips, picture days, create an area-wide homeschool yearbook, hold a charter for the National Home School Honor Society, and sponsor an annual Used Curriculum & Book Sale and Nebraska Homeschool Expo.
We collaborate with other homeschool groups and nonprofits to secure a variety of educational opportunities and bring events such as dances and graduation ceremonies to the homeschool community.
We network with local businesses and agencies to find the best support resources and to ensure homeschool students are included in other offerings such as competitions, scholarship considerations, and leadership opportunities.
Nebraska Homeschool is currently staffed by an all-volunteer force of homeschool parents committed in time and in heart to helping other Nebraska families.
