What We Do

Our vision is More Children. Prepared for School. Prepared for Life.

At the Nebraska Early Childhood Collaborative (NECC), our mission is to harness the potential of child care providers to deliver high quality early learning opportunities through access to business resources, innovative partnerships, and educational support.

Over the last 10 years, our Child Care Network has grown to over 1,700 provider members, making it one of the largest staffed child care networks in the country. Through the Child Care Network, providers have access to the no-cost resources and supports they need to give children the education they deserve. These resources span from exclusive professional development opportunities, licensure support, 1-on-1 mentorship, and so much more.

We’re also proud to be an Early Head-Start-Child Care Partnership grantee that expands across seven program locations, giving the metro area’s most vulnerable populations of children access to high-quality care, education, and health services. Our strategic initiative to elevate parent and provider voices can be seen through our Parent Ambassadors – a program created to develop parent and provider leaders and support them in advocating for their children, themselves, and their communities.

By supporting NECC, you’re supporting the ability for parents to go to work, for more child care businesses to flourish, and you’re helping more children access high-quality, affordable child care in their communities at a time when access to care is growing increasingly difficult to secure.
